HVAC INDUSTRY NEWS
Getting to Know ISCEON M099.

HVACR personnel want to reduce the number of R-22 replacement refrigerants on their service vans. This would improve cash flow tied up in R-22 replacement refrigerants. DuPont™ has developed ISCEON™ MO99™ refrigerant which is "one gas" that can be used in both Air conditioning and Refrigeration DX systems to replace R-22. This unique refrigerant combines similar R-22 pressure-enthalpy characteristics with mineral oil compatibility in a zero ozone depleting refrigerant that is compliant with the U.S. Clean Air Act.

E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company., Inc., headquartered in Wilmington, Delaware, has invested nearly two decades of research and development to discover R-22 replacement refrigerants that can be used to replace R-22 over a wide range of evaporator temperatures. Now that M099 is here, it is essential that everyone in the industry involved in using refrigerants or involved in training others to use them take the time to learn about M099.

Getting to Know ISCEON M099 is easy, as Mr. Nick Strickland who is responsible for leading the ISCEON refrigerants team in North America will explain this new refrigerant during the 2011 HVAC Excellence National HVACR Educators and Trainers Conference. The conference provides attendees information on new technologies, changes in federal legislation and allows them to hear directly from government and industry leaders and other organizations including: ASHRAE, DuPont, Carrier, Daikin, Emerson, United Association, EPA, NIBBS, Genteq, and many others.

The 2011 National HVACR Educators and Trainers Conference will be held at one of Las Vegas' newest attractions, the South Point Hotel & Event Center, March 20-22, 2011. This conference is for anyone involved in the HVACR industry seeking to learn about new and changing technologies. In addition, it offers teacher sessions on training techniques, grant writing, and distance learning opportunities. Information on the sessions, expo and other details are available at www.hvacexcellence.org
