Daikin announces Creard as the brand name for its low Global Warming Potential (GWP) products.

Daikin’s R-407H will be the first product to use the Creard brand. Creard R-407H is Daikin’s new cost-effective, high-efficiency, low GWP refrigerant for use in new and retrofit refrigeration systems.

Daikin America, Inc., a subsidiary of Daikin Industries, Ltd., announces Creard as the brand name for Daikin’s low Global Warming Potential (GWP) products. The Creard brand will be used for refrigerants, blowing agents, solvents and propellants. The logo for Creard, shown below, is also being introduced:

Creard R-407H:

Daikin Creard R-407H has been listed by the U.S. EPA SNAP Program for use in Retail Food Refrigeration for Remote Condenser Applications which include convenience stores, bakeries, supermarkets, restaurants and other systems operating between 0.3 and 5.7 cooling tons and rejecting heat outside of the evaporating environment.
