Midwest to help injured veterans to rebuild their lives.

Midwest Tool and Cutlery (www.midwestsnips.com) is well on the way to a significant charitable contribution. The company was inspired by HARDI (www.hardinet.org) to engage in activities that could support U.S. military troops. In particular, the organization, Home for our Troops (HFOT; www.hfotusa.org), will be the recipient of contributions resulting from a special product promotion now underway.

The campaign began on July 4 and dictates that a $2 donation will be made to HFOT for each specially packaged pair of snips sold.

According to Midwest National Sales Manager, Chuck Loparo, “We watched with great interest as HARDI served the troops through donations over the last couple of years. That truly inspired us to show our passion and gratitude for their service. In particular, HFOT aims to help rebuild lives by building mortgage-free homes for the severely injured veterans. We couldn’t think of a more worthy cause to support.”

This Midwest charitable gift campaign continues until Veteran’s Day, November 11. The limited edition commemorative packaging distinguishes the campaign snips from standard ones made by Midwest. All, however, are proudly made in the USA.

Stocking distributors can order the limited edition snips by contacting Midwest via phone (800.782.4659), email (midwest@midwestsnips.com), or fax (269.651.4412).
