Addressing the Skills Gap - Solutions for HVACR Recruitment.

There is a skills gap between the workforce and today's HVAC jobs.

The CBS television show 60 Minutes reported last year a story discussing the skills gap and how it was keeping three million jobs in the United States from going unfilled while millions remained unemployed.

How is this possible?

What is the skills gap?

How did we get here?

What are the contributing causes?

What are the solutions for recruiting people into the HVACR industry?

This session will be conducted during the 2014 HVAC Excellence National HVACR Educators and Trainers Conference at the South Point Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.

If you are looking to be part of the solution in helping recruit new people into the HVACR industry, this is a must attend session. While the Bureau of Labor Statistics provides information we can use for recruitment, its about as fun as reading a simplified version of the IRS tax code. Keith Avery has taken all of the statistics and put them into a fun format that anyone can use to use to recruit the next generation of technicians.

The conference is March 31st through April 2nd at the South Point Hotel in Las Vegas, NV. Mr. Avery's session will be one of over forty covering recruitment, new technologies, regulatory changes, best practices and better teaching techniques.
