Five more educational sessions are added to the RSES 2011 Annual Conference schedule.

Five more educational sessions are added to the educational program during the 74th RSES Annual Conference and HVACR Technology Expo that will be held in conjunction with the 22nd RSES Annual Mid-Southeast Regional Association Educational Conference on Nov. 2-5, 2011 at the Sheraton Norfolk Waterside Hotel in Norfolk, Va. The 2011 conference will focus on education as well as many industry-related topics and the theme will be, “Making History with RSES in Norfolk, Virginia.” The RSES Tidewater Chapter will host the event.

The five educational sessions include:

“Existing Home Sales Can Increase Your Bottom Line,” will be led by Kenny Hart and Jack Moriarty of Homebuyers Inspections Inc. This two-hour session will target all audience levels. Hart and Moriarty will review the major players in most real estate transactions, the work they do and just how a relationship with each one can increase your bottom line.

"Refrigeration Line Sizing," will be led by Jack Bartell of Virginia Air Distributors Inc. This two-hour session will target an intermediate- to advanced-level audience. Bartell will cover the proper method for determining the refrigeration line sizes required for virtually any comfort cooling application from 1 to 50 tons.


 

"Airflow Fundamentals - Why is it so Important?" will be led by Don Stanley of Virginia Air Distributors Inc. This three-hour session will target a basic- to intermediate-level audience. Stanley will provide attendees with an overview of why airflow is so important to system performance giving them a more complete understanding of this critical system benchmark.

“Commercial Refrigeration ECM Update,” will be led by Christopher Mohalley of Genteq, a division of Regal-Beloit Corp. This near two-hour session will target all audience levels. Mohalley will cover product specifications, operation, and all technical information required to install and service ECM motors used in commercial refrigeration. Also he will discuss the current and upcoming full line of ECM products from Morrill Motors.

"Profit Management for HVACR Contractors," will be led by Judy Sweetland of Sweetland’s Heating and Cooling and Harlan Krepcik, CMS. This two-hour session will target all audience levels. Sweetland and Krepcik will cover information that can help a manager or an owner better determine the financial “health” of his or her company.
