HVAC INDUSTRY NEWS

“We are extremely excited to have MyTemp available in the Boise area. Western’s expertise in residential zoning and their reputation for service excellence make them an ideal partner for launching MyTemp in Idaho,” said Jon Brodeur, vice president of sales and marketing. “Strong
customer response in markets such as Portland, Bend, Salt Lake City and Denver lead us to believe that MyTemp’s room-by-room control is the ideal solution for a more comfortable, energy efficient home, and that it will be warmly received and enjoyed by Idahoans.” “The Treasure Valley has a lot of large, multi-level homes with a single thermostat, and we have four full seasons, with hot summers and cold winters,” added Bob Barnes, president, Western Heating & Air Conditioning. “We are very excited to offer MyTemp to our customers. We have had great results with traditional multi-zone systems, seeing higher levels of comfort and significant energy savings. MyTemp represents the next generation of residential temperature control. Its room-by-room temperature control and suite of energy savings tools are significant innovations over current technologies, and we anticipate that our customers will love the results.”

Western will be an exhibitor at the Boise Fall Home Show from October 24-26, 2008 (www.spectraproductions.com/attend_bfhs.htm).

Home Comfort Zones, Inc. Announces Appointment of First Boise Area Authorized Dealer.

Home Comfort Zones' MyTemp(R) Now Available Through Partnership with Western Heating & Air Conditioning.

Portland, Ore. Home Comfort Zones, Inc., manufacturer of the MyTemp®
temperature control and energy management system, announces the appointment of its first Authorized Dealer in the Boise, Idaho market. Western Heating & Air Conditioning is now authorized to sell and install the MyTemp system. The appointment of Western Heating & Air Conditioning makes MyTemp readily available throughout the Treasure Valley.

MyTemp delivers both improved comfort and potential energy savings by providing room-by-room temperature control for residential forced-air HVAC systems. It saves energy by conditioning occupied rooms only as much as needed (efficiency) and by reducing conditioning in unoccupied rooms (conservation). The system is unique because it monitors the temperature in every room and individually controls the airflow to every vent. MyTemp can be easily installed into most existing homes without changing the HVAC system. The energy savings features of the MyTemp System provides control tools for homeowners to reduce their heating and cooling energy consumption by up to 40 percent.
