Building Health Check, LLC has teamed with ACR Supply, a leading wholesale distributor of air conditioning, refrigerating and heating replacement parts and supplies, to offer the IAQ Screen Check line to HVAC dealers throughout NC and other southeastern states.

Founded by L.C. Meachum in 1977 in Durham, NC, ACR Supply Company, Inc. is primarily focused in the marketing and wholesale distribution of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating replacement parts and supplies throughout central North Carolina. ACR Supply inventories some 11,000 different product items that it purchases from approximately 500 different manufacturers and suppliers.

Headquartered in Clearwater, FL, Building Health Check, LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Pure Air Control Services, Inc. and manufacturer of indoor environmental screen test kit products. In 2002, the company launched its innovative IAQ Screen Check line, which includes test kits for mold, bacteria (including staphylococcus), dust mites, fiberglass fibers, formaldehyde, mycotoxins, organic vapors (chemicals) and other allergens and irritants.
The kits include complete instructions, sample collection devices, fact sheets, and American Industrial Hygiene Association accredited lab analyses, performed by the scientists at Environmental Diagnostics Laboratory (AIHA 102795).
After initially being used largely by Pure Air Control Service’s building diagnostic sciences division and other industrial hygiene consulting firms, the IAQ Screen Check line’s major rollout to wholesale distribution began in mid-2006, when Carrier Corp., a leader in air-conditioning, heating, and refrigeration systems, purchased the screen test kits to offer in 10 test markets. Today, more than 30,000 IAQ Screen Check test kits have been used in-house, packaged with Building Health Check, LLC’s evalu-aire product line, or sold individually.
