Service Excellence Training Keeps Things “Real” while Driving Home Service Contractor Revenue.

Contractor training company improves bottom lines at companies throughout the country by focusing on sales training, lead generation, and customer retention.

Service Excellence Training (SET), a leading contractor sales training company, is opening its training resources to a larger contractor audience. Previously, the SET management has focused strictly on select regional contractors who have proven the effectiveness of the SET programs. Now, the promise of increased contractor revenues through SET sales training is being made available to a wider audience.

Todd Liles, president of SET, commented, “There are three things that any successful contracting business needs to focus on. Those are lead generation, expert sales techniques, and client retention.” SET utilizes a proprietary system of proven training programs to accommodate a wide variety of companies and train their employees to become experts in these key areas.

After having dozens of satisfied business owners, SET is now offering its unique curriculum to an ever-expanding list of contractors in the home services industry. SET’s curriculum consists of a series of finely tuned courses that are taught in classrooms, via the web, and on site at contractors’ places of business. Each course, while distinctly constructed for service and selling technicians, field employees, client service representatives, dispatchers, or even business owners themselves, all have one thing in common.

“That one thing is the focus on increasing the bottom line of the contractor,” added Liles. “If we don’t help the owner move the needle in a positive direction, whether it be in lead generation, sales training, or customer retention, then we have not done our job.” SET has achieved its rapid success by keeping its training real.

According to Liles, “I was a service advisor in the field. I’ve trained service advisors and many other home services personnel for years. That translates into courses that speak the same language as the people who are being trained. The policy of keeping things real translates into greater profits for the contractor and has become the foundation of everything we do.”
