Textured Floor Registers Offer Tactile Experience.
Continental Industries announces today the release of a new series of floor registers based upon its venerable model, the 28 Series. The new series has been dubbed the 28PC with the nomenclature indicative of the Powder Coat finish. While most Continental register products receive the super-hard
electrocoat finish (smooth & glossy), the powder coat finish of the 28PC Series offers a new twist—actually several new twists—the twists and turns of a textured finish.
The powder coat finish rivals the electrocoat in terms of durability and coverage while offering the visual and tactile elements of texture.
“We’ve been using a new term around the office in relation to this product,” says Doug Gaugler, Sr. VP of Sales. “We like to call it ‘barefootable.’ The rolled edges of the face blades along with the textured finish make for barefoot comfort,” he says with a smile.
The 28PC maintains the patented design elements of the standard 28 as well as the quality construction. Like other Continental products, the 28PC is manufactured in the U.S.A. A product data sheet is available on the Continental Industries web site:
