AirAdvice Launches Breakthrough IAQ Assessment Tool
AirAdvice, Inc., developer of the AirAdvice® HVAC-IAQ™ Program, has launched its latest advance in IAQ (indoor air quality) diagnosis and recommendation technology: the AirAdvice® SmartIAQ™ Report. The Report offers new advantages for HVAC contractors and their customers.
Portland, OR (PRWEB) April 27, 2006 -- AirAdvice, Inc., developer of the AirAdvice® HVAC-IAQ™ Program, has launched its latest advance in IAQ (indoor air quality) diagnosis and recommendation technology: the AirAdvice® SmartIAQ™ Report.
Input from hundreds of more than 1,500 AirAdvice HVAC contractors and their customers helped shape the clean new look and function of the next-generation AirAdvice® SmartIAQ™ Report.
Like the original AirAdvice IAQ Report, the SmartIAQ™ Report shows homeowners the results of time-based AirAdvice® IAQ testing performed inside their home by their HVAC service professional. The SmartIAQ™ Report uses newly available technology to offer many additional benefits as well.
The SmartIAQ™ Report presents IAQ test findings in three categories – health, comfort, and safety – and ranks them based on national IAQ guidelines so customers can quickly understand the impact of any problems found. Possible causes and recommended solutions are listed alongside. The SmartIAQ™ Report also provides local outdoor air information and projected energy cost savings for a total IAQ solutions presentation. Other new features for contractors include built-in assessment checklists, built-in coupons, and updated proposal generators.
“My customers take a look at that report and they know what’s going on with their air right off the bat, just like that,” said Scott Langmaid of Callahan Heating and Air Conditioning in North Andover, Massachusetts. “It makes a good impression. We’re giving them detailed IAQ diagnosis in a way that’s professional yet very easy to figure out. And it’s personalized so they can see how it applies to their own life right there in their home. It’s all there, one simple page right up front – the what, the why, and how we can fix it for them. It makes our job easy. Our IAQ sales have increased almost forty percent.”
“Our guys in the field absolutely love it,” said Kory MacGregor, President at Roth Heating and Cooling in Portland, Oregon. “It gives them everything they need to show their customers that what they’re recommending can really make a difference. There’s no guessing – it’s objective third-party data combined with solutions and recommendations. It boosts customer confidence and makes for a very powerful close.”
HVAC marketing expert Adams Hudson, president of Hudson Ink, agrees. “The AirAdvice SmartIAQ™ Report gives contractors much more than test results,” said Hudson. “It’s an attractive lead enhancer that upsells and closes customers on the spot. It virtually eliminates sales resistance due to ironclad proof of need. Not bad for one sheet of paper!”
More than 40,000 AirAdvice IAQ tests conducted across North American in 2004-2005 show that over 96% of homes and businesses have at least one IAQ problem. Current AirAdvice contractors will have automatic access to the new SmartIAQ™ Report as part of their active subscription at no additional cost.
“We asked for better ways to help explain IAQ to our customers,” said Charlie Martin of Woodfin Heating in Mechanicsville, Virginia. “AirAdvice responded. The first time we used the new report, the customer basically said, ‘Yes, let’s do that’ without much discussion. The sale was nearly three times higher than we’d expected, and it solved their most pressing clean air concerns. We’re all happy about that.”
