Radial Damper Augments T-bar Diffuser Line.

The Continental Register division of Continental Industries is now releasing a new line of radial dampers, designed for T-bar (2x2, lay-in) diffusers in light commercial or institutional settings. These products are now shipping from Continental’s Elkhart facility. 

The new line, dubbed the 3900 Series, provides an alternative to standard butterfly dampers. The 3900 was designed for compatibility with the Continental 5400 Series Collar, all T-bar diffusers using this collar, as well as all other Continental fixed-collar T-bar diffusers. Likewise, the 3900 Series is interchangeable with competitive models from other major manufacturers.

These dampers are constructed of galvanized steel. Blades are precision cut, providing consistently smooth operation and approximately 270 degrees of adjustment. The zinc die cast operator adjustment is beveled to guide the flat blade screwdriver in place. This can be especially helpful when installed visibility is low. Attachment tabs are pre-scored and pre-bent for quick installation.
